Fins First Surf School is founded by life-long Water Man and local surfer Oliver, going by ‘Oli’ and partner in crime and Dutchie Anne, who lost her heart to the beautiful island. With Fins First Surf School you’ll get hooked to the sport on the best waves in Europe.

Group Surf Lesson

We provide group Surf Lessons everyday. With multiple other students you learn and practice surfing together under the guidance of a skilled instructor.

Prioritizing Safety Above All: We judge surf conditions before every lesson, guaranteeing optimal learning conditions. If conditions are less than ideal, we proactively reschedule or select an alternative beach.

Fins First is dé aanrader als je opzoek bent naar een goede surfschool op Tenerife, de Canarische eilanden. Oliver is enthousiast, vriendelijk, empatisch en doet er alles aan om jouw surfervaring onvergetelijk te maken. Er wordt veiligheid gecreëerd, grenzen verlegd, soms mooie levenslessen geleerd maar vooral veel plezier gemaakt. Precies daar waar surfen omgaat!

Fins First ist zweifellos eine herausragende Wahl unter den Surfschulen auf Teneriffa! Oli überzeugt nicht nur mit seiner unfassbar sympathischen Art, sondern gibt auch individuelle und äußerst hilfreiche Tipps, die perfekt auf das eigene Surfniveau abgestimmt sind. Weiterer Pluspunkt: Im Vergleich zu den überfüllten Massen Surfschulen sticht Fins First deutlich hervor. Viel persönlicher und viel besser auf die eigenen Skills abgestimmt! 3 mal auf Teneriffa gewesen, 3 mal mit Fins First gesurft, auf viele weitere Male!

It was my first surfing exprience and it went really well. The instructor, Santiago is amazing and great. My gf and I really enjoyed all the time with him and we wish we can come back to Tenerife and surf with him again👍🏻

Super nettes und qualifiziertes Team mit dem Ziel selbst Anfängern, die keine 25 mehr sind, den Spaß am Surfen zu vermitteln! 😉 Idealerweise bucht man zu Beginn private Stunden und sobald man sich sicherer fühlt, machen die Gruppenstunden bestimmt richtig Bock. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Absolutely lovely bunch of people. They taught me loads from the first day, banging week. Fully recommend them. Keep going on the enthusiasm. Ps tip: Get in early before all the other surf schools start! 😉

Una experiencia de 10. El entorno ya es maravilloso, una playa excelente e inmejorables vistas al Teide. Además el instructor, Oliver, es lo mejor que te puede tocar. Su actitud relajada y amigable nos han hecho disfrutar un montón. Además explica muy bien cada detalle de tu surf y está muy atento para que puedas mejorar. La mejor escuela de la zona.

Es war einfach super!!! Hab von meinem Partner eine Surfstunde zum Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen und mich direkt ins Surfen verliebt. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass wir so schnell ins Wasser gehen. Und wir so schnell auf die erste Welle dürfen. Ich kann Oli’s Surfschule nur empfehlen! 😊👍
